Faltering Growth Support
Nature of the service
Faltering Growth Support is a fixed, time-limited clinical support service delivered over approximately 4–6 weeks. It is designed to interpret feeding, growth, regulation, and response to change over time, rather than to provide isolated appointments or one-off advice.
The service is clinician-led, structured, and delivered as a single integrated clinical process. It is not divisible into individual sessions, reviews, written outputs, or time units.
⸻
Commencement of service
The service is considered to commence once the booking is confirmed and preparatory clinical work begins.
Preparatory clinical work includes, but is not limited to, review of background information, feeding history, growth data, referral information, and any materials submitted or accessed in preparation for active support.
Commencement of the service constitutes delivery of professional input, whether or not live appointments or check-ins have yet occurred.
⸻
Payment and refunds
Once the service has commenced, the full fee is payable and is non-refundable.
Refunds are not issued based on:
• the speed with which conclusions are reached
• the number of live contacts, reviews, or written communications used
• early resolution, reassurance, or escalation
• parental choice to discontinue, pause, or pursue alternative input
The fee relates to professional assessment, interpretation, clinical planning, and oversight across the defined support period, not to a guaranteed duration, minimum number of appointments, or specific outcome.
⸻
Scope and structure
Faltering Growth Support includes a defined combination of assessment, monitoring, interpretation, structured check-ins, and written guidance delivered as part of a single clinical pathway.
Reviews, check-ins, and written guidance are provided only within the context of this service. They are not transferable, exchangeable, or repurposable for unrelated concerns.
The service concludes when:
• growth is clinically stable and feeding is sustainable
• onward medical or specialist input is clearly indicated
• the defined support window ends
whichever occurs first.
⸻
Medical care and outcomes
This service does not replace medical care and does not remove the need for medical assessment, investigation, or referral where indicated.
No specific outcome or timeframe can be guaranteed. Clinical judgement, including reassurance, monitoring, interpretation, and recommendation for escalation, constitutes delivery of the service.
