To provide a thorough and effective assessment, elements of the Hybrid Assessment are carried out before, during and after the scheduled consultation. By confirming your booking, you understand and agree that professional work begins immediately.
- Assessment preparation and case review
On confirmation of booking, professional assessment work begins. This includes opening and managing your clinical case, reserving professional diary capacity, reviewing completed intake forms and professional preparation ahead of the consultation.
This preparatory work forms an integral part of the Hybrid Assessment and is carried out whether or not a live consultation later takes place.
Fee for work performed:
£85 of the total £150 fee relates to assessment preparation and case review. This amount becomes payable once booking is confirmed because the work begins immediately.
- Clinical media review
Images and video footage are a mandatory clinical component of the Hybrid Assessment and must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation to allow appropriate review.
These materials are reviewed in advance as part of the assessment process to inform professional interpretation and recommendations.
Clinical media review is deemed to have started when a clinician begins reviewing your submitted media and this is logged in your clinical record.
Fee for work performed:
£35 of the total £150 fee relates to clinical media review. This amount becomes payable once clinical review has started, regardless of whether a live consultation later takes place. This review forms part of the overall Hybrid Assessment and is not a standalone service.
- Live consultation and included review support
The live consultation is a scheduled appointment where findings from the assessment are explained, guidance is provided and next steps are discussed.
Depending on the Hybrid Assessment option selected, your booking may also include WhatsApp clarification support and or a scheduled review call. These are continuations of the same assessment and do not constitute separate consultations.
Fee allocation:
£30 of the total £150 fee relates to the live consultation and any included review support.
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds (live elements)
Live consultation time and any scheduled review call constitute reserved professional capacity.
If you cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your scheduled live appointment (UK time), you are eligible for a refund of the portion of the fee relating to the undelivered live elements only.
If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours, or you do not attend, the portion of the fee relating to reserved live time is not refundable.
In all cases, any assessment preparation already completed and any clinical media review already started remain payable as fees for work performed.
- Distance sales cancellation rights and starting work immediately
Where this service is booked online, by phone or away from clinic premises, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days.
If you request that work begins immediately, you agree that if you later cancel within the 14-day period, you will be charged for work completed up to the point of cancellation. This may include the £85 assessment preparation and case review fee and, if started, the £35 clinical media review fee.

The value of this service is not dependent on diagnosis, findings or the need for further intervention. Professional assessment, interpretation, guidance and clinical judgement constitute delivery of the service, including where reassurance, monitoring or no immediate intervention is indicated.
